At Birmingham we are keen to attract the brightest and best students. The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences will be offering around 10 Excellence Scholarships for new undergraduate students joining the University in September 2010. The admissions tutors in each school will nominate the highest achieving candidates who will then be shortlisted by a college selection panel. The Scholarships will be for £5,000 per annum and are available in the following subject areas:
Scholarship holders will also be able to enjoy other benefits such as the opportunity to attend a Universitas 21 conference. In return, students will be expected to act as ambassadors for the University, College and their subject area and to make regular reports on their academic and other progress to the alumni and donors who have made these Scholarships possible.
